I made the throw size, which ended up being 64 x 78 inches. I used Laura Gunn's Magnolia Lane, Kona Expresso, Emerald, and White. The pattern is very straight forward and easy to follow, and easy enough for a beginner to follow.

My favorite part of Spring is the smell right after a rain shower. Love that, and of course all the flowers AND being able to get the kids outside to play. We had a brief taste of Spring here this last week, I can't wait until it is here for good!

The departure of snow and the arrival of spring flowers.
Picnics on quilts of course! While the kiddos run around and play, and pup chases butterflies. A little mushy, but seriously, some of my best memories!

Love this quilt!! My favorite thing about Spring is that baseball season is just around the corner. Like Fall, Spring is fun because the temperature is always changing and you just never know what to expect. I know that drives some people crazy, but I like it.

My favorite part of spring is the food! Strawberries, asparagus and artichokes, at least in California). And my birthday (sometimes the first day of spring).
The most precious part of spring is the end of the day, when the sun shines throw the windows and make the colours of fabric even more bright!
