Mazed Giveaway!

Welcome to the third and final stop on our Mazed Blog Hop! If you missed the other stops, hurry to Nancy's and Mary Claire's blogs and enter for a chance (or two) to win a hard copy of Mazed by Kristy Daum. Did I mention that Kristy is one of the St. Louis Modern Quilt Guild's founder and the current president? She's one talented quilter!

She just released her first quilt pattern and it is simple and FUN! This pattern is perfect for jelly rolls, charm packs, and scraps of course! And she includes alternate block ideas and layouts to the quilt, so you can use this pattern again and again and never repeat a pattern!

I missed the memo that we were supposed to create something with the pattern. DUH! So I whipped up a couple of blocks at the last minute and threw them up on my design wall. Kristy, I broke into my prized pezzy print charm pack for these! I wasn't sure how it would look with just the pezzys, but I am in love. I think I need a Meandering Maze of Pezzy prints (try saying that four times, fast)! The background fabric is Osnaburg, I would have preferred to use Essex Linen, but it seems to be back ordered EVERYWHERE.  Anyway, here are my four blocks.

I call this one the Throwing Star

The Ladder

The Meandering Maze

I think you get the idea, a fun, easy pattern with multiple ways to assemble the quilt. What more can you ask for? Oh yeah, the pattern comes in both hard copy and PDF versions!

OK here are the deets for the giveaway. The giveaway will run until 11:59 PM (CST) on Thursday May 17th.  It is open to anyone who wishes to enter, international entries are welcome!
  • Leave a comment on this post for one chance to win. If you are a no reply blogger, or have no clue what I am talking about, leave your email too. I will contact the winner via email.
  • One bonus entry if you are a follower (old or new) of my blog. Leave a separate comment for that.
  • One more bonus entry if you spread the word about this giveaway and awesome pattern. Write a blog post, share on Facebook, or Twitter. Leave a link back to your blog, Facebook account, or Twitter account, I will be checking!

If you can't wait for the giveaway - or you are always unlucky, like me - the hard copy and PDF are both available in Kristy's Etsy shop! Use the coupon code BLOGHOP52012 to get 15% off the pattern price. Hurry this sale ends on Saturday 5/12 10pm CST!

Once again a big congratulations to Kristy on her first pattern release!

I think this is a pattern where the fabric makes the quilt, rather than the other way around. It looks fun.
