FtLoS Quilty Finish

It's done! Yippee! Hooray! It would have been off in the mail today, ON TIME, if it were not for my post office's computer crashing just as I get up to the counter to send it out. And unfortunately I could not wait around to see if the computer came back online today. But here she is, quilted, bound and washed for that lovely wrinkled effect.

Sorry for the horrible pictures, I finished this literally at the last minute and took pictures just before I boxed it up. Taking it out of the boxto get a better pic, is an option now since I could not send it today, but honestly right now I am just so happy to be done. My stress level is finally back to normal.

The pattern is from The Sometimes Crafter, called Retro Flowers, and the wall quilt ended up at 30 x30 inches, bigger than I planned, but still small enough to hang, I hope.

Here is a picture of the back, since it was a wall quilt I didn't do much here but add the remaining pieced sashing and triangles in the top corners to slip a dowel rod in to hang. You may be able to see the quilting better on the back, simple straight line cross-hatch that turned out beautifully.

I also finished my Redbird bee block on time, and I promise to share that next week. Right now a big mug of hot chocolate is calling my name... with minutes left to relax before the boys wake from their nap. Happy crafting!

What a fun wall hanging! I'm not in the swap, but I know my husband would LOVE it - he's a big Univ of Michigan fan, and "maize and blue" are their colors. He'd probably snuggle with it at night. :)

It looks great, and whoever is lucky enough to be your partner will be super excited to have it!
