I am going to change where the ties go for the next dress, rather than sewing them in the corner, I am going to sew them on the straight edge just below the corner so I can topstitch the dress. I am sad that the pattern only came in two sizes, 3-6 months and 6-18 months, but it's easy enough to figure out how to make it bigger, at least I hope I can figure it out, it's adorable!
Here's my dress!
And the perfect little model! I made the 6-18 month size, which is a little big for H (she's 4.5 months, already), but that just means she can wear it longer.
The neck is big on little H, but I noticed it is big in the pattern pictures too. In a way, that's good, since my kids have big heads. LOL
Oh yeah, did I mention it was reversible? Love it!

That is seriously adorable! So cute! (The dress and your Little Lady)
What a wonderful surprise to see this linked up to the Craftastic party this week! Your dress turned out great and I'm so proud that you linked up a dress made with my pattern to my little party:)
She is just adorable and i know she'll get lots of wear out of it (also makes a great toddler top). And you're right - the neckhole is large so it's easy to get those baby heads in and out of it!
That is sooo sweet!
Adorable! I want to make one for my niece! Stopping by from Ladybird Lane Friday link party.
Love Love Love! She is adorable and you did such a fantastic job!
Oh my, she's adorable! Can I have her please?! ;) Kelly, that dress is beautiful! I love that it's reversible too. I love the fabric you chose too. Great job!
Such a cute dress, Kelly! And little Miss is super adorable as well. I can't believe you found out at 14 weeks, they always made us wait until at least 20 or so!
Your little angel is adorable!! What a beautiful dress too! Love your fabric choices and that it's reversible!
Little H is the perfect model and it is obvious that she loves showing off your handiwork!
